StarStarStarStarStar They Almost Got It Right - Close But No Cigar, Sorry!!
User: Dave Fifield, Jul 17, 2009
Pros: Stereo Bluetooth with iPhone 3GS works GREAT!
Cons: Play/Pause and Fwd/Rew buttons dont function with iPhone 3GS
Just got this headset in the mail today. Overall, its an excellent product, but it doesnt do EVERYTHING youd expect it to with the iPhone 3GS.

I have a 32GB iPhone 3GS. It paired with it nicely, no problem there. The audio quality is very good and the Normal/Wide/Bass switch gives you some tonal/spacial choices. My preference is Normal.

I do think the spring that clamps the headset to ones head is a bit strong, but I could get used to it and itll probably weaken over time.

Up/down digital volume controls on the headset work properly with the iPhone, however, the Play/Pause and Fwd/Rew buttons on the headset DO NOT DO ANYTHING on the iPhone 3GS. Well, the Fwd/Rew buttons make the iPhone beep, but thats all. Either Samsung or Apple dropped the ball on the coding or something here. Hopefully, Apple will be able to fix this and make it work with these Samsung headsets in a new firmware release......

Incoming calls while youre listening to music come in nicely. The music stops and you can talk to the caller over the headset with its built-in microphone. Noise cancelling seems to work well here too. HOWEVER, once the call is cleared down, youre screwed. The music DOES NOT START UP AGAIN, and the iPhone switches the audio back to its internal speaker, so you have to dig the darned thing out of your pocket, set the audio back to the headset and then press play again. What a let down!!!

PLEASE, Apple, fix this for us....I know its probably not your fault, but whats the chances of Samsung taking my headset back and fixing it there? (Answer: None).

StarStarStarStarStar iPhone doesnt support wireless stereo
User: Anders K, Sep 1, 2008
Pros: Cable option included
Cons: Unnecessarily expensive for a wired headset
I might have bought this one if the iPhone supported wireless stereo bluetooth.
